I was delighted to paint this commission piece for my friend, whose daughter is featured running down the beach. This painting now hangs on her wall in Colorado, reminding her each day that she will again run down the beach and leap for joy. Waves can erase footsteps. Life challenges can change our direction, but they don’t erase the effort it took to get there, or lessons learned along the way.
