In Golden Hour Dance, I needed to consider the fleeting nature of light. During this tender hour, the sun is low in the sky, blue light is filtered out, creating a softer and dreamy warm glow on the landscape. The sun seems to paint the earth in golden beauty. As I painted this piece, my goal was to achieve this sense of light shifting drama, and create a mood of tranquility and warmth. The reverie of colors finally came together. I am happy to have taken on this challenge, which helped me grow as an artist.
